Oleksandr is a warrior of resilience who has returned to an active life.

Oleksandr Hubariev is a man of strong character, a vibrant personality, an exceptional sense of humor, and genuine Ukrainian authenticity. A striking military figure, he could not stand idly by while abroad when his homeland needed protection; he returned home to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with his fellow soldiers and defend the Ukrainian people and our state.

While carrying out a combat mission, Oleksandr was wounded and lost a leg. A long road of treatment, recovery, and daily struggle lay ahead. The months spent in hospitals were difficult, yet he endured them with the same steadfastness he had shown on the front line. When the time came to make decisions regarding prosthetics, Oleksandr visited the “ORTOPEDSERVISCENTER.”

After visiting the center and speaking with the specialists, Oleksandr decided that this was exactly where he wanted to begin a new chapter of his life. His strong determination, combined with the high-quality work of the prosthetists and the multidisciplinary team, enabled him to adapt to the prosthesis very quickly and return to an active lifestyle in a short time. Today, Oleksandr continues to pursue his passions and set new goals; he has enrolled in university and is exploring new horizons.
