Another step toward recovery: Bohdan and Dmytro with new bionic prosthetics

Bohdan and Dmytro are strong, brave, and courageous defenders of Ukraine. They are the ones who unhesitatingly stepped up to defend the nation and fought fiercely for our freedom. Sadly, however, the war has left its mark on our heroes; both Dmytro and Bohdan lost their upper limbs while carrying out combat missions.

It was time for our team to look after our defenders. At ORTOPEDSERVISCENTER, military personnel were fitted with modern, functional bionic prostheses. Occupational therapy sessions helped them master the devices, enabling them to perform everyday tasks with maximum efficiency and dexterity.

Modern bionic hand prostheses replicate natural movements and allow for precise actions—from grasping objects of various shapes to typing. They respond to signals from forearm muscles and gradually adapt to the user's movements. These prostheses combine medicine and technology, restoring freedom of movement and confidence in daily life.
