Meet Yevhen. His story begins with trials but leads to strength and recovery.

In the early days of the full-scale invasion, during fierce fighting in the Kyiv region, Yevhen sustained a severe injury and lost both his legs. That day marked the dividing line between "before" and "after"—serving simultaneously as a second birthday and the greatest ordeal of his life.
Yevhen was one of the first two patients at ORTOPEDSERVISCENTER. He placed his trust in us just as the center was beginning its journey—at a time when we were operating amidst uncertainty and the sound of air-raid sirens, all while building our team and developing a system of care for the wounded.

Yevhen received his first prostheses at ORTOPEDSERVISCENTER and underwent a challenging rehabilitation process; just a year later, he returned to take the next step—fitting himself with new, more advanced, and technologically sophisticated prostheses featuring Rheo Knee modules.

Reflecting on Yevhen’s story and the early months of the full-scale war, we are convinced that even in the darkest times, it is possible to create a space for recovery, strength, and new opportunities.
