Company Commander Lieutenant Andrii Surzhko is a man whose story proves:

In his youth, he decided to defend his homeland. During combat operations, Andrii sustained a severe injury and lost both legs. A long battle with pain and an exhausting recovery lay ahead.

For his prosthetics and rehabilitation, Andrii chose "Ortopedservicecenter," where he received modern prostheses—his new "steel legs." Yet, the most precious gift fate bestowed upon him there was meeting the physical therapist Olena, who would later become his beloved wife. Together, they built a family founded on love, mutual respect, and support.

Today, Andrii leads a fulfilling and happy life. He works as a lead economist at the Vinnytsia Regional Branch of the Social Protection Fund for Persons with Disabilities and practices jiu-jitsu. In his free time, he enjoys going fishing—his favorite way to recharge.
