Microprocessor-controlled knee unit.
A computer and/or remote control are no longer required! A certified prosthetist can quickly and easily program and adjust the ALLUX knee unit using a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone.
The patient can also easily switch modes and check the battery level using a smartphone.
Allux is often referred to as a "natural knee" because its movements closely resemble those of the human knee joint. Its four-bar linkage design ensures a smooth transition to the swing phase, while increased toe clearance helps reduce the risk of falling.
ALLUX’s full-phase microprocessor control automatically adapts during both the stance and swing phases, enabling stumble recovery even when the knee is flexed.
Traditional mechanical-hydraulic controls limit knee movement due to constant resistance. The microprocessor-controlled hydraulic cylinder provides optimal resistance based on walking speed. This allows the patient to focus on their surroundings and activities rather than their prosthesis, thereby increasing flexibility in daily life.
